Ok so disclaimer; 'Us' is actually 'me' - Clarisse. With a little help from my nearest and dearest in the forms of support, love, transport, listening to me waffle...speaking of which here is a little of my story. If you know me you I’ll know I love a waffle 😂
The creation of The Sacral Moon has been a wonderful part of my own healing journey, something which I hope to be able to help others with through my energy and giving back I the universe.
Officially, The Sacral Moon started in 2021 when she was given her name, however this has been a life long process for me.
I'm not sure exactly when it started (or perhaps it was always there?) but I found I had issues with my sacral chakra, leading to a range of physical and emotional imbalances. As a child I collected crystals, I enjoyed drawing and writing and I took homeopathic remedies. I believed in Angels and fairies and astrology and had a strong pull to learn about Tarot and all things psychic.
As a 'grown up' I lost a lot of that. I have never lost my interest or fascination but I lost a lot of the passion and swamped myself in projects that didn't allow me to express, and ended with me giving all my energy away.
As soon as I reintroduced crystals and took some workshops and courses in energy healing things really started to make sense. After being told by healers on multiple occasions that my sacral chakra was blocked/ out of balance, I decided to make a conscious effort to balance myself! I started with painting and made myself and those close to me crystal crystal grids on artistic backgrounds to emphasise and boost the energy flow. I then fiddled around with bracelet making, using intuition and research to create bespoke bracelets. I realised I loved it and the rest is history! The 'Sacral' part of the name represents my journey to rediscover passion, creativity, and intuition and my hope I can bring balance to to others with the things I've learned along the way.
As mentioned above, Astrology has always been a passion of mine. Through some amazing Karmic Astrology healing I found my strong connection with water and the moon. I had been exploring this for some time and things fell into place.
Using the moon phases to help to my healing I realised how closely this celestial body was linked to all things creative, intuitive and emotional - all properties linked to the sacral chakra. The governing element of the sacral chakra? Water. The ruler of the element water? The moon! Staring with the moon I have been expanding my knowledge on astrology and birth charts. I use these in my art work and creative projects for bespoke healing tools related to when you chose to be born. Moonstone has also always been a crystal I have been drawn to, therefore I knew it needed to be somewhere in the name!
As part of my own healing I often paint the sacral chakra symbol, and one day this flowed into a triple moon goddess and the idea for ‘The Sacral Moon’ was born!
I also share my life with two rescue cats, at any given time there is usually one of them with me during the creative process and sometimes they want to join in and help me to choose crystals. Throughout the site and my social media you will often see their part in this journey!
