Amethyst is a variety of quartz whose lilac or violet tones bring a calming energy. Much like the scent of lavender amethyst washes relaxation over its environment bringing with it a sense of magic and tranquility.

In those moments of calm it allows you to truly connect to and listen to your mind, which in turn allows us to connect to our third eye. This is why amethyst is known for its connection to the spiritual realm and is a great first crystal when entering a world of spirituality and psychic connection.

Affirmation: I allow myself to be fully relaxed and open to spiritual guidance.

Meditation: if you can, place an amethyst on your third eye, picture a purple haze floating down from above, washing over you and feel each part of you relax as it does so. Consciously let go of any tension you can feel yourself holding. Concentrate on the third eye area and imagine to opening (you might actually feel this (it’s a muscle like the other two eyes and when you begin to use it the more it stretches!) allow any messages to flow and see what comes up! Or if you have a specific question set this in your intention at the beginning of the meditation.

Tip: amethyst is a great crystal to have around the home, however sometimes they can have a very high vibration! If you feel jittery or struggle to sleep with your amethyst around (although amethyst is often good for sleep) either pair it with a more grounding crystal such as smoky quartz or red jasper.

💫 All rings are intuitively handmade by me, beads are sourced ethically from small businesses and bracelets are regularly cleansed and charged using the full moon, selenite and smudging. All pieces will be passed through sage before leaving. 

Ring care

I use the strongest elastic on the market based on reviews, and a bead with a larger hole to discreetly hide the knot so it can be as secure as possible. However there are some things you can do to care for your ring - to prevent discolouration and stretching / breaking:

🌟 Roll onto finger, do not stretch

🌟 Do not wear in water, sea, baths, showers etc. this will also prevent decolouration of some beads

🌟Take off your ring at bed time (I suggest you pop it on to a selenite charging plate over night for some fresh energy the next day!)

🌟Do not use perfumes or lotions directly onto your ring
