Please remove the ring before washing hands and keep it free from any lotions or oils. This will keep the gold / silver plating in tact for much longer and preserve the integrity of the crystal. When adjusting be careful not to bend the metal too fast or too forcefully. 

An absolutely beautiful type of quartz - smoky quartz gets its grey / black / brownish colouring from aluminium. It has wonderful grounding properties that help connect us with the earth, healing the earth star and root chakra.

Smoky quartz is known for its protective qualities as well as its ability to absorb negative energy.
