Around the heart space we actually have two chakras - the heart and then just above the heart the higher heart / thymus chakra. For me the heart is concerned with giving and receiving love and relationships, and is more associated with green stones. The higher heart is associated with loving yourself and unconditional love and can be worked on using pink stones.
